The subject of the sale is a 100% share in a company focused on the production of specific hygiene and menstrual needs for women and incontinence underwear for women and men. This is a company that has only been operating for the second year, but during that time it has developed its own original product, secured its production and successfully sells it under its own trademark-protected brand in the Czech Republic and Europe. The product brand is already known in its target group and awareness of it is growing rapidly.
The core of the company’s business is the production and sale of only about 10 types of menstrual supplies for women. These products were developed in 2021 with the specific needs of the target group in mind – the owners believe that they are of better quality than products from competitors. Due to the low number of product types, the company is able to better plan production and requires relatively small storage space. The actual production of menstrual supplies for the company is carried out by several sewing workshops in the Czech Republic and one larger manufacturer from abroad.
The company is currently selling through its own sophisticated e-shop, in which considerable funds have been invested. The initial investment in the project in the years 2020 to 2022 was approximately CZK 8 million. The marketing strategy is already set and tested, it mainly uses social networks and affiliate marketing. The plan for the coming months is the start of B2B sales to brick-and-mortar stores. From the beginning of 2024, the expansion of sales to foreign markets in DE, AT, SK, HU is underway.
The company’s target group is women between the ages of 12 and 50. The advantage is a stable rate of sales, which is not subject to seasonal fluctuations, and thanks to this, the company’s employee capacity and production are better managed and planned. The company’s business is not subject to crisis periods such as the Covid pandemic or the crisis associated with war. The market on which the company operates will, for objective reasons, very likely grow dynamically in the coming years.
The company’s business is growing rapidly, in just a very short period (2 years) the company was able to move from product development to sales at the level of CZK 14 million in 2023 from B2C sales on the Czech market alone, with an expectation of 30-40% growth turnover in the following year. Growth will be further accelerated by entering new markets, as well as by using the Amazon and Alza marketplaces.
The company currently has an average of 3 employees. The owner is mainly involved in strategic management in the company, and this role takes him a total of about 25 hours/week. The owner is selling the business due to moving outside the Czech Republic, but is willing to stay in the company for a limited time (approx. 1 year) even after the sale and hold the position of consultant/manager, with the aim of a smooth handover of the company.
The price includes inventory with a purchase value of CZK 7.0 million, it is a turnover item in full, there is no problem selling this item. Part of the price is the operating cash on the company’s accounts needed for the operation of the company in the amount of CZK 3.0 million.
