Established wood manufacturer focused on the production of stair parts

Basic information

The subject of the sale is a company focused on the production and supply of stair parts intended for the production of wooden stairs. The company has a history dating back to 1996, in the past it was also engaged in the production of saunas and garden furniture, but in 2007 the company changed its focus, brand and production program. In 2009, the company began to specialize in the production of wooden stair parts for customers – manufacturers of stairs.

In 2017 and 2018, the company went through a crisis, when the company lost its main customer, but the company quickly recovered from the crisis and gained new customers. At present, the company has 5 customers, manufacturers of stairs from abroad, which produce a total of about 500 stairs every week. All production is aimed at customers abroad, especially in Western Europe. The company handles about 400-500 orders per month.

In 2019, the turnover and profit numbers returned to almost the original level and the estimate for 2020 is even better. Until 30.6. the company achieved a turnover of CZK 8 million. The company also increased the price by 15%, so it is estimated to have a turnover of about CZK 20 million and a profit of about CZK 1,000,000.

The company is based in its own premises, equipped with a relatively modern machine park. An expert valuation was made on the value of real estate and machinery in 2018. The company is not indebted.

The owner is engaged in order processing and communication with customers in the company, which takes approximately 4 hours a day. The owner is, of course, willing to help the new owner with the transition. The transfer price should be paid at once, the possibility of long-term installments is not possible.
