Valuable know-how

Modern equipment

High profitability

Basic information

The subject of the sale is the operations of an established tool shop in Košice, i.e. the complete machinery including accessories, tooling and measuring instruments, know-how, CNC programs for repeat orders and customer relationships. The buyer can also take over an experienced production team and the lease of the production hall. The company itself, its cash, receivables and payables remain with the seller.

The tool shop specialises in custom manufacturing of precision engineering components to the customer’s drawing, a sample part or its own design. It produces spare parts for production lines, jigs and fixtures, nests for welding machines, parts of moulds and cutting tools, as well as plastic injection moulds. Its services also include 3D modelling and technical drawings, while heat and surface treatment is provided in cooperation with partners.

The machine park covers CNC milling, wire EDM cutting, EDM start-hole drilling, surface and cylindrical grinding and conventional turning and milling. Its core consists of 2 three-axis vertical machining centres with low operating hours and geometry re-measured in 2026 and a practically new CNC wire EDM machine; the conventional machines have been overhauled with new electronics.

Customers are mainly automotive component manufacturers, other engineering and manufacturing companies, plastic moulding shops, cutting tool makers and measuring laboratories. Orders come in without active sales, as customers find the tool shop online or through referrals. There are no framework contracts, but part of the orders recur regularly, so the buyer can make use of the archive of CNC programs.

The tool shop has been operating since 2010, since the end of 2014 in its current leased hall, which allows production to be expanded. The hall is in a very good location close to a number of automotive customers, with the new Volvo car plant 15 minutes away. The operation is consistently profitable and has no loans or leases.

The team consists of a production manager, 2 toolmakers operating multiple machines and 1 part-time turner, who according to the owner would stay if their wages are maintained. The owner handles quotations, CNC programming and production planning, and once the purchase price has been paid he is willing to help with the handover for a transitional period.

The owner is selling for personal reasons. The operation’s strengths are its modern, well-maintained machine park, high profitability and stable demand. The main opportunity is introducing a second shift, as the key machines currently run on a single shift, together with developing active sales. The structure of the sale can be adapted to the buyer’s needs, for example with the takeover of the team and the hall, or with the machines relocated to the buyer’s own premises.

The offer is suited to tool shops and engineering companies looking to add capacity or enter eastern Slovakia, and to automation and production line companies that currently source parts externally and could make them in-house.

Frequently asked questions

What is a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and why do you need it?

The sale of a company is highly confidential. Employees, customers and business partners are often unaware that the company is for sale, and premature disclosure could harm the business. Before sharing detailed information, we therefore need to be sure it will be treated confidentially, and that is exactly what the non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is for. You usually sign it only once, it covers all InBase listings, and you can sign it electronically via SignWell in a few minutes.

What do I receive after signing the NDA?

We will send you an identified profile of the company, that is, the company name, a detailed description of its operations, customers and team, and detailed financial results. On request, we will gladly provide further materials for assessing the opportunity. If your interest continues after reviewing the identified information, the next step is usually a meeting with the owner, which we will arrange.

How quickly will I receive the detailed information?

After you submit your inquiry, we will usually get back to you within the next business day and send you the NDA to sign. For some listings we first briefly confirm with the owner that we may proceed, but even then it is typically a matter of days, not weeks.

Why do we ask about your intent and financing?

We guarantee owners that sensitive information reaches serious buyers only. Before identification we may therefore ask about your motivation, intent and the planned financing of the transaction. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide specific information to interested parties who cannot demonstrate that at least part of the purchase price is covered by their own funds, as the financing would then be unrealistic.

Do I pay any commission as a buyer?

No. If you choose a company from our listings, you as the buyer pay us no commission for the intermediation. Our fee is paid exclusively by the seller.
