The whole process usually takes 3 to 9 months. You run the company, we run the sale.
At the first meeting we go through your situation and your reasons for selling. We establish the market value of the company, propose the structure and strategy of the sale and agree the terms of our cooperation. Then we prepare the materials used to approach buyers.
We present your company anonymously to investors from our database of thousands of contacts, whose acquisition preferences we keep up to date. At the same time we approach partners and other intermediaries on the market. The anonymised listing also goes on our portal, where new buyers respond every day.
We take care of the whole process, from negotiating the indicative offer through coordinating due diligence and preparing the transaction documentation to signing and settlement. Our commission is payable only once the sale goes through.
We are not an anonymous listings portal. With every client we work to understand their company and their situation. One named advisor guides you through the whole process and stays available to you throughout.
Almost every working business has a buyer somewhere, but whether the sale succeeds depends on how well prepared the company is. The key point is that the business does not rest entirely on you as the owner (the classic one-man show) and that it has stable supplier and customer relationships and a reliable team.
Sellability is also closely tied to the owner's price expectations. For a sale to work, those expectations have to reflect what the market is actually doing. At the start of our cooperation we run a quick screening: we assess the state of your company, discuss the realistic options and tell you honestly whether it is ready to be sold or what still needs work.
A standard sale process usually runs 6 to 12 months, but our internal database of active investors often shortens that considerably. If your company is well prepared, we can introduce the first serious buyers within a few weeks.
We split the process into three main phases:
The value of a business is not only about its assets but above all about its ability to generate profit. Most small and mid-sized companies in our region currently sell for 3 to 6 times average annual EBITDA.
The price is influenced by plenty of other factors as well: the value of tangible assets, the working capital position, the level of debt, the market position and how dependent the business is on the owner. You will find the types of valuation we offer on the company valuation page. For a more precise estimate, book a free consultation and we will look at your numbers in detail.
We are not just a listings portal, we are transaction advisors. Our public portal is very effective, but it is only one of the three main channels we use.
We combine three routes when looking for a buyer:
If the company is a good fit for a cross-border sale, we approach foreign buyers directly or through our partnerships with international advisor associations, specialised M&A platforms such as Dealsuite, and professional communities in the field.
You will probably sell your company only once in your life. In our experience, going it alone does not pay off. It often does not look professional on the market and it can even suggest to buyers that the business is in trouble and you need to offload it quickly.
We have closed more than 70 sales worth hundreds of millions of crowns. We handle everything: the valuation, the preparation of materials, the active search for a buyer, moderating the negotiations and coordinating the legal and tax advice. We filter out the tyre-kickers and bring only serious, funded buyers to the table. On top of that, we do not require exclusivity, so if you end up finding a buyer yourself, we will not stand in your way.
We are paid primarily for success. At the start we charge only an upfront fee (usually between 600 and 2.000 EUR) that serves as mutual commitment and covers the initial cost of preparing the sale. Beyond that, your additional costs with us will be negligible.
Our main compensation is the brokerage commission, typically a few percent of the transaction value, payable only once the transaction has closed and the money is physically in your account. The rule is simple: if the business does not sell to a buyer we found, you pay no commission after the sale. You will find our pricing here.
We are glad to step in as your transaction advisors even at this stage. We will help you negotiate better terms, for instance the structure of the purchase price or the warranties, keep due diligence running smoothly and coordinate the lawyers drafting the transaction documentation (SPA).
Since we will not have to spend time and money actively looking for a buyer, our fee for these services is correspondingly lower and fully tailored to what you need.
Free of charge and with no obligation, we will assess your company and advise on the best way to approach a sale.
