Key highlights
Basic information
The subject of the sale is a 100% share in a Slovak limited liability company that operates two mono-brand stores of a premium women’s fashion brand in Bratislava under franchise agreements with the brand owner. One store is located in the historic city centre, the other in one of the largest shopping centres in Bratislava. Each store has a sales area of approximately 140 m², complemented by separate storage and office space.
The company was established in 2019, when it took over the operation of the city centre store. At the end of 2024 it took over and relaunched the second store in the shopping centre under the brand’s second, more casual line. The brand has been present in Bratislava for many years and the current owner took over its operation to ensure continuity of the brand on the Slovak market.
The stores sell women’s clothing and accessories from the brand’s current seasonal collections. The customer base consists mainly of women aged 30+ with higher purchasing power. Customers are attracted by the strong international brand awareness, the prime store locations and the brand’s multichannel marketing.
In 2025 the company achieved revenues of 1.5 mil. EUR, compared with 0.8 mil. EUR in 2024 and 0.6 mil. EUR in 2023. The growth reflects mainly the addition of the second store. EBITDA reached 10 ths. EUR in 2025 and 80 ths. EUR in 2024; the 2025 result was affected by one-off costs of taking over and relaunching the second store. For 2026 the owner expects revenues approximately 8% below 2025, reflecting a general slowdown in European fashion retail and a delayed delivery of goods at the start of the autumn season; the autumn and winter season is the strongest part of the year. The company has no bank debt.
Both franchise agreements are concluded without an entry fee and without royalties; the franchisee contributes 2 to 3% of seasonal purchases to the brand’s advertising. The franchise for the city centre store includes territorial exclusivity for Bratislava for the brand’s main line. The lease of the city centre store has been extended until 2031 with an option for a further five years, the shopping centre lease runs until approximately 2029, also with an extension option.
The company employs 9 people (a store manager for both stores, a deputy manager and sales staff). The current owner does not draw any remuneration from the company. The inventory consists exclusively of the current season’s collection, with no older stock.
The reason for the sale is the owner’s decision to concentrate its activities on another market, where it is expanding its retail and wholesale business. The owner’s priority is to ensure continuity of the brand in Bratislava and to find a partner who will develop the business locally in a sustainable way.
The main strengths of the business are its established positions in the best retail locations in Bratislava, long-term secured leases, the franchise model without royalties, a trained team and clean, current-season inventory. The new owner can also rely on the full support of the brand’s regional agency for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, covering merchandising, visual merchandising, buying, marketing and communication with the brand owner. Further potential lies in growing like-for-like sales, developing the client base and online and clienteling activities.
The ideal buyer is an experienced fashion retail operator or a franchise partner of premium brands who will appreciate the positioning of the brand and its commercial potential. The transfer of the share is subject to the approval of the franchisor, which has expressed openness to evaluating suitable candidates.
