Basic information

The subject of the sale is a 100% ownership stake in a well-established Czech company specialising in the remediation and drying of buildings after water damage and leaks. The company handles the comprehensive removal of moisture from buildings caused by various sources, where the speed and technological precision of the intervention determine the customer’s savings in time and cost. It operates throughout the Czech Republic, with demand concentrated in Prague and the Central Bohemia region.

The company has been on the market as a limited liability company since 2018 and builds on trade activity dating back to 2008. Over that time it has developed a strong reputation among both end customers and insurers and shows a consistently healthy financial history with no external financing.

Its core activity is the drying of masonry, floor structures, roofs and terraces after water damage, torrential rain and floods, complemented by professional moisture measurement with a certified protocol that insurers recognise as a key supporting document. The company also uses a unique method of deep masonry drying with heating rods that shortens drying time by up to half. In addition, it operates a high-margin rental service for professional drying and heating equipment, generating stable income even outside the main season.

The company has long shown exceptionally high profitability. In the last normal operating year it achieved revenue of 205 ths. EUR at an EBITDA of 127 ths. EUR, corresponding to an EBITDA margin of 62.0 %. In 2025, revenue and profit were temporarily lower due to the owner’s long-term illness, as he is also the company’s only operational worker, and for 2026 a return to the usual level is expected. The company operates entirely without bank debt.

Operations are currently handled mainly by the owner in person, and to ensure smooth running after the takeover it is advisable to plan for 2 to 3 workers. The sale includes a complete fleet of equipment ready for immediate operation, together with the web presentation, contact database and know-how. This includes, among other things, a fleet of roughly 105 professional dehumidifiers, dozens of fans and floor drying units, electric and gas heaters, diagnostic technology and two utility vehicles.

The owner is looking for an investor who will ensure the further development of the company and its potential. He offers full cooperation during the handover in the form of personal assistance and training over 2 to 3 months, so that the established relationships with insurers and other partners are preserved.

Key strengths include the anti-cyclical nature of demand, since the remediation of water damage is virtually independent of the economic cycle, and a high barrier to entry given the established know-how, market presence and complete equipment. The company offers significant growth potential in active B2B outreach to property managers, homeowners’ associations and housing cooperatives, in regional expansion beyond Prague and in adding related trades. For a strategic buyer from construction or facility management, it represents an immediate technological expansion of the portfolio into lucrative emergency and remediation services.

Frequently asked questions

What is a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and why do you need it?

The sale of a company is highly confidential. Employees, customers and business partners are often unaware that the company is for sale, and premature disclosure could harm the business. Before sharing detailed information, we therefore need to be sure it will be treated confidentially, and that is exactly what the non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is for. You usually sign it only once, it covers all InBase listings, and you can sign it electronically via SignWell in a few minutes.

What do I receive after signing the NDA?

We will send you an identified profile of the company, that is, the company name, a detailed description of its operations, customers and team, and detailed financial results. On request, we will gladly provide further materials for assessing the opportunity. If your interest continues after reviewing the identified information, the next step is usually a meeting with the owner, which we will arrange.

How quickly will I receive the detailed information?

After you submit your inquiry, we will usually get back to you within the next business day and send you the NDA to sign. For some listings we first briefly confirm with the owner that we may proceed, but even then it is typically a matter of days, not weeks.

Why do we ask about your intent and financing?

We guarantee owners that sensitive information reaches serious buyers only. Before identification we may therefore ask about your motivation, intent and the planned financing of the transaction. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide specific information to interested parties who cannot demonstrate that at least part of the purchase price is covered by their own funds, as the financing would then be unrealistic.

Do I pay any commission as a buyer?

No. If you choose a company from our listings, you as the buyer pay us no commission for the intermediation. Our fee is paid exclusively by the seller.
